Nicki Chavoya & Lisa Amadeo are visual artists who collaborate on music videos, installations, curated experiences and all artistic endeavors that speak to our heart.

Appropriately introduced to each other in a local spirit and smoke shop by a blonde, bearded Harley rider named Woody, the two instantly connected through their talents, passion and history. Prior to meeting in New Haven in 2011, Nicki & Lisa both resided in Brooklyn while pursuing film degrees at Tisch and The New School respectively. Each had a long and lively go of working in the media and music scene in NYC. Lisa focused her efforts on creative content development for the screen, fueling grassroots documentary film campaigns and producing large-scale events. Nicki produced and directed social issues films traveling to Haiti, Europe and across the U.S. While home in Brooklyn, she played synths in the band 12000 Trees, organized art & music events, interactive installations and curated a film festival.

After combining talents and solidifying their partnership, Nicki & Lisa founded OutpostNewHaven, an underground art collective that curates art & music shows in underutilized spaces throughout the city. OutpostNH artists are often a large part of the inspiration for videos as well as the cast and crew for Nicki & Lisa’s videos.
